We landed in India early
Wednesday morning. Our flight from Dubai left at 9pm at night and we landed in
Madras in the wee hours of the morning. The airport in Madras was pure torture.
No air conditioning anywhere, the lines for immigration were crazy long and
took us over an hour, then we had to wait for our bags for another hour. Never
again. (Or at least not for another two and a half weeks.) Our flight home to
Coimbatore was at 6 in the morning and that was an uneventful trip. We were at
home by 8:30am that morning where we promptly showered, ate, spent a little
time with our grandma and neighbor and passed out until the next morning.
Our schedule for this
trip is pretty packed and we’re basically on the road every single day visiting
family. Thursday was pretty much spent doing laundry and packing for the next
two weeks. We had a couple of fun visitors during the day though. J
